The Friends of the Diocese of Willochra
 The grand dinner
and auction held at Bungaree on Friday 5th October was a marvellous event. We sold out tickets and
everyone who came had a great night of fine food, wine and entertainment. I am
grateful to Liz Harris and Vicki Moore who worked so hard in planning
and preparing for the night. We were fortunate, too, that George and
Sally Hawker made us so welcome at Bungaree and that the Michaels family
from Koonowla vineyard supplied wine and prizes. The support the Friends
received from so many different places and
people was tremendous. Final figures are not yet available, but well over $7,000 was
raised for the See Fund. Of course, The Friends is an ongoing project,
and each year there will be opportunities for
people to gather to support the See Fund and to pray for the Bishop and
his ministry.
