It is well over ten years now since the first of the Ecospirituality tours took place in the Flinders Ranges of northern South Australia. These periods are designed to be a means whereby people are encouraged on their journey as they encounter the God of Creation through specific themes.

What’s at Gum Creek? Gum Creek is the home of Bill & Jane McIntosh. Bill has lived there all his life and his family before him. He and Jane have lived on Gum Creek all of their married life. Over the years they have developed their shearer’s quarters in order to accommodate tourists and groups such as ours. The Eco-spirituality program has used Gum Creek Station each year for the past ten years. Each room has two beds [two have double bunks but we won’t be using the top bunks!] with a good mattress on each. 240 volt power [solar batteries], gas hot water [hot showers], an excellent kitchen with two fridges and a large gas range. The dining room living area has a large slow combustion stove for heating and there are excellent Bar-B-Q facilities on site. Toilets are all “under the same roof”. At the rear of the quarters [fronting onto the creek] there is a patio and lawned area. The whole place is very well set up.
