Brachina and beyond,

Gum Creek Station, Flinders Ranges    10 - 15 September 2007

The Ecospirituality programs have been taking place for well over ten years, mainly in the Flinders Ranges of South Australia. These programs are designed to encouraged people on their journey as they encounter God in Creation through specific themes and with the help of a spiritual director.

Gum Creek Station is the home of Bill & Jane McIntosh just south of Blinman in the Flinders Ranges.  The Eco-spirituality program has used Gum Creek Station each year for the past eleven years, with the group staying in the shearers’ quarters, which are well maintained with excellent facilities.  Each day the group gather for morning reflections before heading out into the wider Flinders to discover a new part of this wonderful environment.  With plenty of time in the afternoon for relaxing, walking or personal reflection, the group would come back together refreshed to share in an afternoon happy hour and evening meal.
This is one of the first programs without David Amery as organiser and we would like to thank him for all his energy, enthusiasm and encouragement over the years which will enable these programs to continue.
