| Ash Wednesday |
| Ash Wednesday for 2010 is on 17th February and that means Palm
Sunday is on 28th March followed by Holy Week with Easter Day on 4th
April. Please make sure these dates are well known in your local congregations so that
people can plan appropriately. On Easter Monday there will be a picnic
lunch with music at Bishop's
House - the ‘Not so Big Day Out’. I hope you
will plan to come. |

| Plans
are well in hand by our diocesan MU team for the celebration of Lady Day
at Port Pirie in the Cathedral on Thursday 25th March. I have
always hoped that this should become something of a diocesan event, not
just for MU members, but sponsored by them. I hope you will
try to be present on that day to give thanks to God for the obedience of
Mary and to renew our own commitment to be the "servants of the
Lord." |

hope you are promoting this event to be held at Bishop's House on Easter
Monday from late morning until about 3pm. All people from around the
Diocese are welcome to bring a chair, something delicious to drink and to
enjoy some great music and food.
