Bishop Garry Weatherill commissioned the Rev'd Arthur Tanner as Priest of Leigh Creek and the Northern Mission in The Church of the Good Shepherd, Leigh Creek on 22 February 2007

It was a joyous occasion celebrated by the members of the ecumenical congregation at Leigh Creek, Arthur's ecumenical colleagues, and other people from the Diocese who travelled to Leigh Creek for the occasion.
