Mothers' Union Diocese of Willochra

Letter from President: Elizabeth Harris  - Diocesan President

MU is alive and well in the Diocese of Willochra

Once again, as in past years we continue to embrace the responsibilities of our roles, experience and gifts.  We continue to have the opportunity to celebrate the relationships we have built up. By communicating with each other, our church members and with the wider community, we shall thereby create a community of like-minded people with responsibilities at local, national and international levels.
Our Departments include Social Responsibility, Education, Prayer & Spirituality, Magazine production and publications, Promotion and Development, Overseas & Northern Outreach coordination,  and the establishment of Links with other branches at Diocesan, National and International level.  Department Heads are willing to travel to branches or Areas to assist with communications in these areas.
We are a diverse group of people, scattered across a wide area of South Australia with many and varied local interests. We continue to be a ‘little tribe with a big vision’ .

Information on the location of MU branches can be obtained from the Secretary (08) 8847 2081 or lruss@rbe.net.au.

Communication at all levels is vital for MU in our diocese and in our branches to continue to be vibrant and viable. By focusing on our diversity we bring together an exciting range of activities, thoughts and skills.

We believe that God is ever present and active in our lives—that his guidance will enable us through prayer and action to reach out and communicate with each other and with the wider community of MU Australia and its world wide aspects.
We have available for sale, adult and children’s books and prayer and spiritual publications.  These include baptismal kits, wedding kits and promotional material.  Enquiries can be made from the Publications Department – Helen Miller, (08) 8823 2114.
