Communities

| In this Diocese, we are encouraging
congregations as Ministering Communities. Our aim is that each
congregation will be a self-sufficient unit of the Church, where
Sacraments are celebrated and the Word proclaimed, where the love and
care experienced by the Christian community reach outward – and so the
Good News of Jesus Christ
may be experienced by all. |

Development Officer |

The
Rev’d Steve Clarke
is the Ministry Development Officer. He is responsible for co-ordinating
Christian education and formation in the Diocese, and he works with and
helps to provide resources for ordained and lay people. All this fosters
spiritual growth, identification of gifts, ministry formation and
congregational development.
