The first weekend in August saw
another Ministry Weekend held at Camp Willochra at Melrose. Over 50
people attended and appreciated quite a range of topics to explore. All
were grateful for the catering done by people from Jamestown.
Rev'd Prue O'Donovan's theme was "Reaching out to families,"
and offered a series of strategies for congregations to pursue. Peter
Burke's theme was "Serving your community and making Anglican
connections." And then Rev'd David and Andrea McDougall spoke about
"Meeting the social needs of your communities."
The value of these weekends lie in the opening up to possibilities, and
the networking with people across the Diocese.
