Time Out for Women at Camp Willochra, Melrose

14th –16th October 2005

Once again a wonderful Time Out for Women was held at the Willochran camp, women came from all over the diocese with some from various religions making it truly ecumenical.
Michael Wigg senior Ranger at the Mt Remarkable National Park conducted a most interesting walk up the side of the mountain, giving us a lot of information about the flora and history of the park.
The workshops were popular, with women kept busy learning jewellery making, origami, paper flower making, card making, and learning to draw using pastels.
Sister Sandra also had a meditation session, which women found helpful.
Saturday night showed the great talent that was amongst the people present, with much laughter, watching many skits, and listening to some mind boggling poems.
The worship in the chapel with Sr Sandra leading was very spiritual and the two boys Ben and Tyler enjoyed playing the bells.
Many friendships were formed and ideas exchanged, and all left feeling refreshed and renewed, having enjoyed a weekend of wonderful fellowship and food.
