The Anglican-Uniting Regional Council has recently produced a study book for Lent or other times. It is called Presence and helps congregations or ecumenical groups examine what it means to be an effective Christian presence in a rural area. It has an introduction about the rural church and five chapters:
1. What is an effective Christian presence?
2. Patterns of presence
3. A worshiping presence
4. An ecumenical presence
5. A community presence
It provides bible study, comment and case studies to enable small groups to enable open and stimulating discussion to broaden the vision of rural communities about the mission of the Church.
Presence costs $5.00 plus postage and is available by phoning     08 8662 2249
