| The
Anglican-Uniting Regional Council has recently produced a study book for
Lent or other times. It is called Presence and helps
congregations or ecumenical groups examine what it means to be an
effective Christian presence in a rural area. It has an introduction
about the rural church and five chapters: |
| 1.
What is an effective Christian presence? |
| 2.
Patterns of presence |
| 3.
A worshiping presence |
| 4.
An ecumenical presence |
| 5.
A community presence |
| It provides bible study, comment and case
studies to enable small groups to enable open and stimulating discussion
to broaden the vision of rural communities about the mission of the
Church.
