Our Vision
AMUA is part of a worldwide
organization, The Mothers’ Union which was founded by Mary Sumner in 1876. Mary,
a grandmother, was inspired by a great vision concerning Christian
responsibilities of motherhood. It was not long before branches of mothers
union spread throughout England and then overseas. Today there are 4 million
members in 84 countries ministering in parishes, managing literacy and
parenting programs addressing climate change and gender based violence issues.
Aims and Objectives of Mother’s Union

To uphold Christ’s teachings on
marriage and to promote conditions in society favorable for stable family life
and the protection of children.
