Our Vision

AMUA is part of a worldwide
organization, The Mothers’ Union which was founded by Mary Sumner in 1876. Mary,
a grandmother, was inspired by a great vision concerning Christian
responsibilities of motherhood. It was not long before branches of mothers
union spread throughout England and then overseas. Today there are 4 million
members in 84 countries ministering in parishes, managing literacy and
parenting programs addressing climate change and gender based violence issues.

Aims and Objectives of Mother’s Union

·
To uphold Christ’s teachings on
marriage and to promote conditions in society favorable for stable family life
and the protection of children.

·
To encourage parents to bring
their children up in the faith and life of the church.

has met with adversity.

Maintain a worldwide fellowship
of Christians united in prayer.
